Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LoyaPin mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by LoyaPin ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LoyaPin is a digital wallet for store loyalty cards. It lets you scan or import loyalty card barcodes, store them on your device, optionally sync them to your account across devices, and automatically surface the right card when your device detects that you have arrived at a store location you have pinned.
LoyaPin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer, store, or loyalty program whose cards you store in the app. All store names, logos, and loyalty programs remain the property of their respective owners. Your participation in any loyalty program is governed solely by that program's own terms.
2. Accounts
Some features, such as cloud sync, require an account. You sign in with your email address using a one-time code. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for all activity that occurs under your LoyaPin account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions and Free Trial
- LoyaPin offers an auto-renewing subscription: $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase).
- New users receive a 7-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, continued use of premium features requires an active subscription.
- Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores.
- We may offer promotional codes that grant free access for a limited period. Promo codes are single-use, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be modified or revoked if we reasonably believe they are being misused.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information you add to LoyaPin — card names, barcode values, store pins, and related details ("Your Content"). By enabling sync, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and back up Your Content solely to operate the Service. We do not sell Your Content or use it for advertising.
You are responsible for Your Content and must only store loyalty cards you are entitled to use. Do not store payment cards, government IDs, or other sensitive credentials in LoyaPin — the app is designed for loyalty and membership cards only.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including storing or presenting barcodes you are not authorized to use;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Service except where permitted by law;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by circumventing rate limits or abusing promotional offers.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your devices in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store rules.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that location detection will always trigger, that every barcode will scan correctly at every store, or that synced data will never be lost. Always keep your physical cards or another record if losing a card number would harm you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or loyalty program benefits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and synced data, contact us at the address below. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service; where reasonably possible we will give you advance notice.
10. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
